OUR COMPANY

Work, passion
& the art of wool.

A textile heritage built on experience, careful material selection and the people behind every fabric.

UHome India Woolen Mill
& K.R. Industries

Established in 1953 in Panipat, near Delhi, our composite woollen textile mill manufactures and supplies woollen and blended fabrics, alongside woven and compressed woollen products.

Our work is rooted in the local tradition of carded and recycled textiles. Skills passed from one generation to the next continue to shape how we select fibres, develop designs and manufacture fabrics for our customers.

Managing Director Krishan Kumar Gupta studied textiles at The Technological Institute of Textiles. His son, Abhinav Gupta, also serves as Managing Director, carrying the family’s textile tradition forward.

01 / MATERIALS

From virgin wool to recycled fibres

We produce carded fabrics in wool, cashmere and mohair through the careful selection and processing of virgin wool and recycled fibres. Our blanket range includes pure wool, wool blends and recycled wool options, with compositions developed around the buyer’s requirements.

Our catalogue also lists merino, lamb’s wool, alpaca, Australian wool and New Zealand wool among the material options available to discuss.

02 / MANUFACTURING

Care throughout the production chain

We follow and control the stages of production, from shredding garments into fibre wads and producing yarn to manufacturing fabric and checking the finished product. Attention begins with the raw material and continues through each stage of making.

The experience of our personnel and the use of measuring instruments support our final quality-control process, with a focus on consistent, reproducible fabric characteristics.

03 / DESIGN

Created around the way it will be used

We study compositions, patterns, colour mixes and fashion trends, with the intended use of the fabric in mind. Our textile design work covers applications including blankets, jackets and overcoats.

Customer needs guide the development of each variation, from the first material choice to the finished pattern. Custom blanket sizes, designs, colours and stripes can be discussed, along with private-label requirements.

04 / VALUES

Tradition with a thoughtful outlook

Ethics, sustainability and social equality are values we aim to put into everyday practice. Our work with recycled materials continues a textile tradition that has long shaped Panipat’s industrial culture.

We believe human values make a difference: listening carefully to customers, respecting the knowledge of our craftspeople and bringing dedication to the products we make.

05 / OUR RANGE
